Dr. Gray has practiced social work since 1968 and has been on the faculty at Catholic University since 1975. She teaches clinical practice with individuals, practice with couples, and psychodynamic theory. Her area of research has primarily been the psychological aspects of divorce as well as the spiritual aspects of psychotherapy. In addition to publishing many professional articles and book chapters, Dr. Gray has engaged in extensive work with the media including print, radio and television.
